Biography
Saburi A. Adeyinka’s practice began with his national service at the Ministry of Justice in Jigawa State, where he gained early courtroom experience representing the state government in civil and criminal matters. He further honed his litigation and client advisory skills at Moyosore Ameen & Co., handling a broad spectrum of cases, including matrimonial, probate, and constitutional matters. Additionally, he is highly skilled in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), having acted as counsel in numerous ad hoc and institutional arbitrations both nationally and internationally.
His in-house experience as a Legal Officer and later Acting Company Secretary at Gateway Bank of Nigeria PLC provided him with invaluable expertise in the financial sector. In this role, he managed complex loan documentation, perfected security instruments like mortgages and debentures, performed company secretarial duties, and advised on regulatory compliance and recoveries. This was followed by his role as Legal Advisor for Bioflaky Ventures Limited, where he provided crucial counsel within the oil and gas service industry.
Saburi was the Principal Counsel at Adeyinka Saburi & Co. Legal Practitioners & Chartered Arbitrators before joining Hendon Partners. He leverages his comprehensive background to provide strategic legal solutions to a diverse local and international clientele. He is a dedicated advocate and trusted legal advisor, known for his meticulous approach to legal drafting, client representation, and complex transactional matters.
He was honored with the title of Bamofin Eleyele of Abeokuta, Ogun State, and has won several awards, including the National Youth Service Merit and Ambassador for Peace.

Adeyinka assumes the pivotal role of Managing Partner and Leads Counsel, spearheading the firm’s expertise in Real Estate and Property Law, Legal Drafting and Conveyancing, Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, Probate and Estate Planning, Insolvency, and the resolution of complex land conflicts.
- Part of the legal consolidation team that advised a consortium of three tier-1 national banks through a successful recapitalization, consolidation, and merger with Intercontinental Bank Plc., achieving the ₦25 billion CBN-mandated capital base in 2005.
- Led the legal team that advised on a multi-million naira high-value property estate transaction valued at over N150 million in a government reserve area of Lagos, navigating strict compliance documentation and statutory regularization.
- Part of the legal team that ensured 100% legal perfection accuracy on over N100 billion in high-value corporate loan transactions through diligent mortgage registration and debenture creation, strengthening bank credit risk exposure and security position.
- Part of the legal team that negotiated and structured the acquisition of a distressed financial institution by an acquiring bank, protecting depositor interests while navigating complex forbearance frameworks granted by the CBN.
- Part of the legal team that advised two leading commercial banks, restructuring and recovering over N25 billion in non-performing insider-related loans following the 2005 reforms.
- Led successful representations for clients in arbitration proceedings, resolving multi-billion naira disputes arising from breach of contract and technical failures in oil and gas projects.
- Administered high-net-worth probates and estates, successfully managing the orderly transfer of substantial, multifaceted business assets across multiple jurisdictions.
